Better Marriage Blanket
So I stumbled upon this commercial for the "Better Marriage Blanket" (www.bettermarriageblanket.com) . It is supposed to completely & quickly absorb the odor of flatulence. At first I laughed and thought it was stupid, but the more I think about it, the better it sounds :)

Mom of two definitely keeps me busy!
I love being a mom to both of my girls, but let me tell you I am sure busy! It is amazing the experiences that you have as a parent and all you can do is laugh. For those of you who are not yet parents let me enlighten you to some of the things that take up my time. For those who are parents I am sure you will be able to relate!
My day starts around 5 in the morning when Lily usually wants to eat. Around 8:00 Adalynn is usually up and yelling at me to wake up because she is hungry. She usually asks for cheese, snacks, marshmallows, juice or sometimes when I am not fast enough she just pours herself some cereal.
I have decided that Adalynn is old enough and needs to start helping out around the house and so she has started doing her own laundry.
I sadly didn't learn to do my own laundry until I got married, but I am making sure that my children don't make the same mistake I did. In between all of the housework I am busy changing many, many diapers, but don't worry Adalynn is doing her part here as well:
And because diapers can be so stinky Adalynn sometimes makes sure that the house still smells fresh. She prefers the scent of baby powder.
After all of that housework we sure work up an appetite so we have lunch.
Lily is still nursing, but Adalynn doesn't want to feel left out so sometimes she will pump
I always have so many errands to run and let me tell you how difficult it is to take a two year old and a baby to the store (especially the two year old, Lily is usually really good). Adalynn is a very strong willed little girl and definititely two so if you are not a parent who has not experienced this, just wait, and in the mean time please be kind to those parents who are sweating and having a hard time loading groceries on the belt, or keeping their children in the cart, or chasing them down the aisle, or watching their children scream and kick on the floor. And if you have experienced this just know that I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!!!!!
Now all parents know that kids love to color so obviously we spend a lot of time coloring. Some times Adalynn takes it a little too far, but I have learned that pen does come off skin quite easily.
We are lucky to live where there is a pool and so often I will take the girls swimming. Sometimes Adalynn is just so excited that she just gets ready herself.
After a long hot day of swimming it is time to take baths. And my girls love taking baths. Adalynn is so cute with Lily and loves to help me bathe her.
I couldn't have asked for a better big sister for my sweet Lily. And nothing melts a mothers heart more than seeing her children be kind and show love to one another.
I sure am a lucky mom and have two amazing girls.
And although he is gone a lot working so I can stay home and going to school don't forget my amazing hubby Trent! Who loves his girls more than anything! (except maybe me!)

Catch up time!
I can't believe my sweet Lily is 1 month old tomorrow! It is amazing how pregnancy seems to last forever, but as soon as they are born time flies! It could be because I am so much busier now. I am so sick of changing diapers and want to start potty training Adalynn, but whenever I ask her if she wants to go sit on her potty she answers "no, I'm scared". Hopefully she can overcome her fear soon.
I am loving being a mom of two little girls! I have found a couple of matching outfits for them. I am also so tired and overwhelmed. It is amazing how hard it is to get anything done! If only I had more hands or another me (that is what I want for Mothers Day) Somebody always needs to be fed, changed, bathed, burped, or just wants attention and that even includes the dog! I swear every time I start nursing Lily, Raymond starts growling to go outside. I think he is having the hardest time adjusting to the new baby. To all you mothers out there who have more than one child, or especially twins, I think you are amazing!
When I was pregnant with Lily, I could tell that she was longer than Adalynn. I would refer to her as my Lerpy Lily, and I was right. At her two week check up she was in the 95th percentile for her height!

This is me on March 28. I may look happy and that is because I know that all the aches, pains, heart burn, and inability to breathe will be coming to an end and I will be able to hold my baby girl!

Trent has been such a huge help since Lily was born. He is such a great dad and loves his girls to death! Him and Adalynn have a very special bond and they love playing together.
Adalynn Loves taking bubble baths. She has started swimming and splashing around a lot more. When she is done she now sings the clean up song and puts her toys away.

Our Lily is here!
On March 29, we welcomed another beautiful girl into our family. Lily Elyse weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and was 21 inches long. I had a scheduled induction and everything went great except for the nausea and vomiting! But honestly there is nothing better than having a baby (with an epidural of course). I am so in love with my two little girls and still have a hard time believing that I am now a mother of two! My little Lily is a wonderful baby, she hardly ever cries and is already sleeping through the night (hopefully it stays that way), and Adalynn is doing well adjusting to the new baby, she is into everything as usual and loves not minding. Trent is also enjoying our growing family and loves referring to them as "our girls". Last week he took Adalynn on a daddy daughter date and they went to Petsmart to see the fishies and birds and then they went to Dairy Queen for ice cream. So cute!

Lily Elise
We have known this for a while, but in about 3 months we will be welcoming another little girl into the Harris household! We are naming her Lily Elise and are really excited to see her and get to know her personality. Already she kicks way more than Adalynn ever did, and if that means she will be busier than Adalynn, Heaven help me.
Big Girl Bed
Adalynn has done everything early (except teething) and is a VERY busy girl. She rolled over at 3 weeks, I found her under the couch at 3 months, walking at 10 months, and now she is in her own little bed (17 months). We decided it was time when she figured out how to climb out of her crib, or more accurately fall out of her crib. Since Adalynn has already spent time in a cast, we moved her mattress to the floor and ordered her a toddler bed. I was very worried how she would adjust to her new bed, but she has done amazing and she loves it! What a big girl!
I'm a terrible blogger
I really have good intentions to blog, but sadly am not very good about it. The holidays have came and went and I have probably gained 30 pounds. When I was pregnant with Adalynn I was still feeling sick around the holidays, but this time I was over that and pretty much ate anything and everything. I have also noticed that winters in Utah SUCK! I hate driving in the snow and Adalynn is not very good in public, so we pretty much hang out at home. Boring and depressing. If anybody is in the same boat we should hang. I can only handle so many conversations with a 18 month old and a dog. Although it is nice that the dog doesn't talk back and the toddler thinks I am funny. And speaking about funny, I have decided, actually I know for a fact that my little girl is one of a kind, and the funniest most outgoing little girl you have or ever will meet. And Im not saying this just because I am her mother. I can't count the times people have stopped me in the store and told me this, as well as friends and family. Even those people who find kids annoying are changing their views and offering to take her home. Everyday Adalynn makes Trent and I laugh and we love her to death. We cannot wait to see how our little Lily Elise will be when she is born.
Even Adalynn thinks she is funny: she is watching a video clip of her and Raymond playing.
